Hi AT,
Do you know where I could get a bed like the one shown in the diet coke commercial?
Thanks,

Dear Neil,
It's not easy to make out the bed's details in this web clip, but it looks like a low slung ebony-colored platform bed frame with a solid headboard.
The closest match we can make is with CB2's Midnight Bed, which has the low height, the squared off legs, and the dark finish. There's also West Elm's wood bed frame which looks similar other than the cutout headboard, and can take either a box spring or just a mattress.
Any other ideas out there?
I love that guys pad... so swank!
The way the mattress drops into the (upholstered?) frame makes it look like one of the Minotti models . Maybe the Bartlett or the Moore?
Coffee table is Maxalto, for what it's worth.
I can't really help, but I think that guy is so cute.
Just stumbled across this in the year end review - the thickness of the headboard make me think this is an upholstered bed. It reminds me a of the Poliform Moby bed but I really get such brief glimpses its hard to tell. Take a look at the Moby bed on the Poliform site and also check out Room and Board. They do a bed clearly inspired by the Moby called the Domain for way less. The only difference (which I think sort of messes up the Domain) is the platform is higher (legs a bit too tall) and the headboard is 4" taller to make it more palatable for mass consumption. I prefer the Moby, but the Domain still looks great because it leaves about $4000 extra dollars in your pocket.
