Dear AT,
I found this photo of a stool (photographer's stool..? wood...) in a magazine. Do you know what its actual name is or where I can find it? Perhaps if I have its actual name, it would be easier to find, such as ebay or google...
Someone must have this stool or have seen it somewhere? Please help! I'm so very in love with it.
Best,
Daisy

It's not a stool, altho' I'm not exactly sure what it's called. It's used by sculptors to model in the round, especially in clay. Another variation is a plant stand, found in orangeries in France. Zanotta used to make a high-style version. Their Giotto stool might come close to what you want. http://zanotta.it

I agree with Rocco, it looks like a modelling stand for sculpture. I googled around to try to find that model but the closest I could get was here http://www.greenandstone.com/v2/p/PAC.php?c=7&d=123 and here http://www.sculpturehouse.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=8
Hopefully either Domino gets back to AT with where they got that particular stand, or you are able to find a similar modelling stand to fall in love with!
