Good Questions: New Doorbell?

9-13-doorbells.jpgAT,

I need a new doorbell. Are there any cool ones I should know about?

Thanks,

Tsubaki

Tsubaki,

Funny you should ask. While working on yesterday's Slinks, we noticed some great doorbells and sites that sell doorbells:

sp0re
Modern doorbells.com
Doorbell Expressions
Chiasso has one that has matching house numbers
Rejuvenation has some more traditional ones

(Personally, we're coveting the Venetian doorbells shown in the photo.)

Any other suggestions for Tsubaki?

For a traditional look I also like the ones from Restoration Hardware:

What about wireless doorbells? These are mostly for people who already have a wired doorbell system--I don't want to install that, but all the wireless ones they have at Home Depot are really ugly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I found a great collection of doorbells online - try www.doorbellfactory.com. I was looking for something I'd never seen before - and I found it there. They have everything from wired to wireless buttons and chimes.
