Good Questions: Ottoman slipcovers that aren't fluffy?

Hello AT,

I would like to slipcover my ottoman (and possibly cover a couple of matching pillows), but I am having trouble finding any ottoman slipcovers that aren't heinous and fluffy.

I'm just looking for something plain with maybe a single pleat on each side if necessary, in a nice durable fabric.

Thanks!
Anne

Hi Anne,

We've used slipcovers from a company called Stretch and Cover with unexpectedly happy results. Their covers are made with spandex and so hug the lines of the furniture underneath. Their ottoman covers come in both subtle patterns and neutral colors, and they also sell matching pillow covers.

Anyone else?

Hey thanks! This looks like a great option, I am ordering some fabric swatches asap! I've seen similar stuff and I was worried that they'd look cheesy but yours looked really good on. I am very reassured. Thanks again!

Ottoman slipcovers like that are a cinch to make. There are a lot of fabric options. Wrap like you would a present and staple along the bottom.
