Good Questions: Refurbishing these Chairs?

goodq8-29.jpgAT,

My husband and I recently purchased two chairs that appear to be mid-century reproductions. We love the style, but they are in great need of repair. The primary problem is that we don't have any examples of what the chair should look like finished. We don't even know what to call the darn thing! Appears to require a 3-inch deep vinyl cushion?

Can you help with suggestions of how to refurbish?

Thanks in advance.

Michelle

Michelle,

We've seen similar chairs before, but haven't had any luck tracking down photos to show you. The ones we've seen do indeed have a deep vinyl cushion, but we're thinking there are some other answers out there...

Anyone?

Jon, thats beautiful! I never would have pictured it from the un-upholstered version. Amazing what a little vinyl can do :)
