Good Questions: Source for Bamboo Bed Frame?

daybed060309.jpgTeresa writes: I was hoping someone would be able to help me find this bamboo bed frame, seen on DesignSponge. I’ve been looking for a twin bed for my toddler and love the simple bamboo construction and I’d paint it a similar blue color. I’ve searched online and haven’t found anything simple like this – all the ones I’ve seen use much thicker bamboo. Of course I’m hoping it’s affordable too. ATers please help!

It may be a customized thrift store / craigslist / garage sale find; just imagine it in all it's 80's glory with a lacquered golden honey color with some floral, pastel cushions.

Failing such a frame actually being made today, I would definitely keep an eye out in any of your usual resale haunts for something you could work with.

I know you're not in Toronto but 'round here the ONLY place to go would be Bamboo Bazaar. Maybe they'll ship? http://stylenorth.ca/blog/2009/06/where-to-find-wicker-and-bamboo/

That could be painted "faux" bamboo (wood made to look like bamboo.) Does anyone know where those little round stools are from? I have been looking off and on for something like them.
