AT,
Where is that rocking chair from, on the Thursday Giveaway: Amy Butler Prize Package post? I've seen it on here before, in green upholstery...
Thanks!

Alexa,
Are you thinking of the Camila Rocker by HutJ?
Anyone else have other ideas?

i think it's vintage too, but a similar one is at Ikea:

or at Habitat UK:

I bought the Ikea Lillberg once (that's the one that eec007 referred to) and returned it the next day. It was HUGE and it looked too rough and unrefined and it just wasn't that comfortable. Perhaps if it were painted a color it would look cooler, but the beauty of the vintage piece is the delicate and elegant curve and taper of the arm and legs and rockers.

it is vintage. i purchased that identical chair on ebay last spring. i got it for a steal at only $350. the only thing i know about it is that is danish (has a stamp on the bottom) but would love to know the designer if anyone knows who made it.

Looks like an Ole Wanscher rocker, a Danish designer who studied under Klint. Very nice!
