Help Identifying this Awesome Clock?
Good Questions

clocksm011910.jpgQ:While tooling around on theselby.com, I came across a picture of this awesome clock (larger photo below). The design is sleek, clean and I dig the train-station-like flip numbers and dates. But, I've have had some trouble searching for it. To begin with, I don't even know what you call a clock with the flip numbers? Flip clock? Any help would be greatly apprecaited by this Portland bachelor.

Wow, that is an awesome clock. It's definitely a flip clock, though I don't know any more than that.

I found this one on ebay and it's a little less expensive than the link previously mentioned

There is also a lime green one that is kind of cool.

Yikes, didn't look at the shipping cost. Coming from Japan so shipping is half the price of the clock.

here it is http://cgi.ebay.com/Retro-Modern-Vintage-17-LARGE-Calendar-Flip-Wall-Clock_W0QQitemZ330368043796QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4ceb784b14#ht_1709wt_941

looked and found it a while back after seeing it somewhere in a house/apt tour I believe. Thought it was more than I wanted to spend on something like that so I never bought it.

I recently bought almost the same thing for my mother with Alzheimer's! It helps her keep track of day, date, etc.

How in the heck does this clock cost so damn much! What a bummer. It's cool, but it looks no where near quality enough to command $100 .

Better $100 than $350 @ Conran ( delivery):

Saw this in a habitat store when i was on vacation in spain 2 months ago. I wanted it sooo bad but i would have went over the allowed luggage weight if i bought it. Now i wish i should have. It's a nice store by the way, they open habitat stores here in the states as well.

We bought that very clock at Habitat and it was our carry-on luggage from Paris to Portland a few months ago.

This fantastic store stocks flip clocks... the store is in Australia, but it's worth looking through their products for inspiration anyway - https://www.opusdesign.com.au/index.php?option=com_icommerce&task=product&cat_id=&prod_id=61
