Hello AT:SF, I have two old philco record player/radio consoles. The one pictured had its fabric panels and hi/fi equipment replaced and the second one was turned into a bar. The speaker panels on the bar were replaced with wine racks. I took off the brass bail pulls and was thinking about doing something rich but slimmer like the bronze pulls pictured...
...Does anyone know where I could find a drawer-pull like pictured, or suggest something else to make my pieces more transitional? The rest of my spaces are warm modern. Something with a backplate would be great because the veneer is faded a bit. Thanks,
-Candice

VanDykes will let you sort their pulls by the boring size (the distance between the holes) on their website which will be better than drilling new holes in something like that. They have both vintage and more modern pulls so that might be a good place to start.

i used the above room and board "natural" small knobs on a Sellers' hutch from the 40's and bedside tables from the 30's. painted the hutch white and stripped the tables down to the oak....worked for both.

I've never been in but Bauerware has always appeared to have a remarkable number of pulls and it's in SF.
