I'm actually much more interested in the bed pictured then the quote... Does anyone know where that picture comes from or where I could find something simular?

It is a room (i think a 'playpen') at the Soho House in NYC.

most of the furniture is one of a kind and sourced through all sorts of fleah markets and vntage shops. I believe the beds are hand carved and from France

i actually saw a bed like that on craigslist not so long ago - and posted on this site i think. it was stained wood, but could easily be painted. check on ebay too, and maybe use the search term "french bed"

yep, was with the nov 10th scavenger listing. craigslist called it "antique french bed." the listing isn't there anymore, but you could put up a wanted ad for it.

ok, i promise this is my last posting about this bed (i am clearly under-utilized at work...) Ebay has a bunch of beds like that under the search "Antique french bed."
