Q: which French, i think, artist or poet supposedly threw his/herself out the window when his cat died (think it was a man), or was that the distorted story, it was someone's lover's death that precipitated the leap (or was it cat>artist>lover?)

i'm not making it up/it's at least an urban myth, but i'm too groggy right how to remmember/google it; it's fun to see maybe who knows...
