
They owe their warmth and their rustic vibrancy to their green construction: they're hand-pieced from post-consumer wool sweaters, which are cleaned, softened, cut into strips, sewn together and then edged.
Port Townsend, Washington-based Abundant Earth carries several patterns, including some in cotton and cotton denim, but we're partial to the wool patterns, particularly Circle/Square and the Highlands, pictured below. And we're particualry impressed by the palettes, which will soften and brighten modern interiors without notching down their sophistication.
