Beeswax Candles

2-5 beeswax1.jpg
On the very first day of our winter holiday in Germany, we wandered around the Christmas Market and happened upon a giant tent bursting with beeswax candles. Exercising our general (and often foolish) "never buy the first thing you see" shopping rule, we breathed deep and moved on to find some bratwurst. Now we're kicking ourselves 'cause we've been having honey filled dreams since we landed back home.

Lucky for us, we found a few online sources to feed that sweet-tooth. The best part? Beeswax candles aren't just candy for the nose, the environment loves them too!

Beeswax candles are more environmentally friendly than their paraffin counterparts. Made from sustainable resources and longer lasting, these babies will keep the mood intact and keep your conscience in check while burning longer and with less nasty soot.

I love beeswax candles. This is a great source for them too:

Now I get mine from a bee guy upstate. He sells at the Union Square Farmers' Market too.
