Ceramic Memo Board from See Jane Work

1-10-08-ceramic-memo.jpg

We've seen a lot of chalk board products in the past year -- chalk board walls, refrigerators, tables, doors and organizers, to name just a few. For the same paper-saving effect without the chalk dust, See Jane Work brings us the ceramic tabletop memo board, made for dry-erase marker.

Measuring 9"x 6.5"x 2.5", a little bigger than half a sheet of standard notebook paper, the ceramic memo board would look beautiful on a rich, dark wood entryway console. We'd keep a small basket nearby with a pretty cloth nestled inside to wipe away old messages.

$11.50, here.

That is pretty damn cool.
The only drawback? I can't put it in my bag and take it to the supermarket.

I love this! Functional, sustainable, and very chic. I think I'll order two or three.

Yeah, I think pads of recycled paper are still the way to go because you can tear off the sheet and stick it in your pocket when you go run your errands. This is pretty but I'd forget everything I wrote on it the minute I left the apartment.

I like this for next to the phone -- for jotting down numbers, names or other info that quickly gets entered into your computer.
