EBMUD Water-Efficient Toilet Rebate!

7-14-08-toilets.jpg

Is your old toilet sucking down the water? It might be time to give it the boot (just don't let it end up like the poor toilettes in the above image, please!) We just took one more small step towards lowering our water usage and we know you wanna join the party. If you're a EBMUD (East Bay Municipal Utility District) customer, hop on the party train with us and get yourself a free water-efficient toilet! Jump below for the details...

All EBMUD customers with qualifying old toilet models are eligible for a rebate that covers either the cost of the toilet or $150. Not a bad deal!

Get the rebate form here.

In San Francisco, the SFPUC currently has a similar rebate program. We recently bought a Toto Aquia dual flush for $300. Half of the cost of our toilet upgrade was paid for by the program. There appears to be a finite amount of funding though, so get your rebate while you can!
