But really, how “green” is it to travel to far flung exotic locations to visit large resorts built on former open spaces (and beaches)? Seems like more “green” marketing hype to me. I hate to be a party pooper, and it may be less “romantic”, but if you really want to put your money where your mouth is (in terms of being “green”), wouldn’t it be better to stay close to home and find something local that will satisfy you?
