well it has butt and thigh grooves so it think u could sit on it as it is a chair. *shrug*

I have an aluminum office chair (but it wasn't this pricey!) for my home office.

Word of warning...a metal chair sucks the heat out of your body through your bum and thighs.

I had to get a chair-cushion in order to tolerate working on my computer in the winter.

it's really pretty comfortable, but the all polished emeco chairs get extremely scratched up very very quickly
