Mio's Recycled Cardboard Nomad System

nomad1.jpg

We've been keeping an eye out for this wall system, ever since AT:NY blogged about it during the ICFF coverage. And just the other day, we noticed that it's now available for purchase on the Mio website.

The Nomad modular system is made of recycled kraft paper, and is double-walled for durability. We think it would make a cool, sculptural divider in a loft or studio. It's also a great way to hide things if you're lacking closet space.

The system comes in six colors: dark green, mid green, dark grey, light grey and white. One pack ($56) includes 24 modules.

We're just going to show you a bunch of photos in this article because this environmentally friendly design collection from MIO is soooo hot! Just look! And, the even better news...it's affordable! Whether it's 3D wallpaper tiles (left), made out of 100% post- and pre-consumer wastepaper ($32 per 12-pak), that you apply and then paint yourself (with non-toxic eco friendly paints, of course) or colorful modular walls (below left) you fit together, made out of recycled double-walled cardboard ($56 per 24-pak), you can turn your home or office into a great looking contemporary masterpiece.
