Soaps from Juniper Ridge

We'll be doing some traveling this holiday season, visiting family and friends that live overseas. While we usually make our own gifts, this year we want to make sure that our bags are packed with some small goodies that pay homage to Northern California. These soaps from Juniper Ridge have been a go-to hostess gift of ours for a while now just for their all-around goodness.

And while these are more of a smack upside the head for the senses than a quiet hint, we're sure our foreign friends will be tickled pink to receive a little bit of California.

P.S. These are also a great "green" gift. Made in Berkeley with 100% wildcrafted and organic ingredients, 10% of the profits go to defending western wildnerness and all of the packaging is made from 100% recycled material and completely compostable.

Available at The Gardener for $6.50.

I think I'll gift these to a friend...

I couldn't find them on "The Gardener" site...

But they do have a variety of scents plus a gift set on the company's page.

I like these soaps. They smell great without being super-sweet or really fake smelling. They sell them at Whole Foods, btw.
