Environmentally-friendly paints are becoming more commonplace these days (we blogged about Kelly-Moore's Enviro-Cote Paint and YOLO was written up here and here). But what about wallpaper that's green? One of our favorites is Susie Mendive's patterns for SUM Design, the company she founded after leaving her art director role at Stila Cosmetics.
We met Susie at last year's NY International Gift Fair, where she was debuting her line of home accessories. We were drawn to her designs purely on an aesthetic level, and were even more thrilled to learn that her wallpapers are hand-screened using water-based inks.
