Wait, there are people that DON'T use brooms these days? What are all the cool hipsters with hardwood floors using, then? I'm so behind!
That was my exact response! What is everyone else using, if not brooms? And why didn't someone tell me!
Hurray for classic cleaning tools! I figured everyone's using Swiffers and Dysons and those rubber brooms. Silly me.

I hate the trend of using Swiffers for sweeping and washing floors. There's nothing wrong with a good ol' broom or a mop and pail, despite what the advertising says.
