Wine Barrel Lazy Susan from Uncommon Goods

1-10-08-lazy-susan.jpg

We're not too proud to say we wish the lazy susan would come back in style. The deep wood finish of this one would look great in the middle of a round pedestal table, like IKEA's Docksta or, gasp, Saarinen's tulip table.

This one is made from reclaimed oak wine barrels, and we imagine the slightly tacky feel of the natural finish.

$100 at Uncommon Goods.

Tacky though they may look, no game of scrabble is complete without one.

Good point, and they rule for craft jobs like painting small objects, but this one is hideous. I feel like there's been too much bad 80's style stuff here lately, like this and the 'faux window'...

this one is a little tacky- have you seen the handscraped ones at www.vintageatheart.net They are way cool with a vintage look.
