This might sound weird, but my husband loves sandwiches made of gourmet bread with hot & spicy sausage and apple jelly! I made some last night and I was actually thinking that I needed a new griddle. This looks most awesome & would be very handy for making his sandwiches!

we are definitely a hot-sandwich family (how can you beat grilled cheese for lunch on a wintery day?), but unfortuantely our "vintage" sandwich press (a hand me down from my brother's college dorm days) recently suffered a major casualty. the grill and press would help us recover nicely and stylishly from this mini-tragedy. thanks!
