The Chron's H&G was a little light again on Wednesday. Here are the highlights:
Tile marches after fashion: Joanne Furio on fashion's influence on tile, and consumers' desire to see quick changes. What's in? Metallics, textures, and bold patterns and colors
Not much new in East Bay Depot's new digs: The East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse has moved to an old TV repair shop in Oakland's Temescal neighborhood. Nancy Davis Kho writes about how revitalizing the 100-year old building embodied the organization's philosophy of "one's man trash is another man's treasure"

I love the tile work and patterns. Great color. Funny how trends follow each other.

I like the new EBDFCR! Brighter and cleaner and seems to have better stuff! (and closer to my house) Hope they can keep it that way.

I'm not crazy about the colors but I like some aspects of the tile work though.
I'd love to see a post on "out of the ordinary" glass tile designs and sources. That's budget friendly...
