showing, where did you get those awesome tea containers? The article was general-- broadway and powell???

no worries leslie. w/online correspondance, people often think showing is a handle... :-)

ah, yes, em, those tea jars are awesome indeed! :-) And Anh-Minh was vague because _I_ was fuzzy about what it was called,e tc. But I finally went back to the scene of the crime, and it's called Diamond 98 Cents Center @ 760 Broadway.

oh, and just so you know about the jars, overall they're great shape, but as is common with dollar stores, I found the occasional one that the glass was a bit warped, so I put those round spongy vinyl stickers underneath. And the lids work fine, but are really thin aluminum.

    cheers.

A beautiful job indeed. Vibrant colors and fantastic sense of style.

Your tea boxes certainly play with light and can easily make a place feel warm and festive. Of course it's not surprising that one with such a keen sense for trumpary artifacts would be quick to call another "economical". But I suppose that comes with the territory.

Beautiful work, if not raffish at best! :-)
    Cheers.
