It's a disturbing mix of hippie crash pad and frat boy porch.

Looks as though you would catch an STD if you sat in it.

You guys are hilarious:) If you don't want to catch an std don't sit on it bare a** nekkid;)
Seriously though, if the material wasn't so scabby looking & old it might actually be cool.

Only with a tie-dyed banner floating above it, Duncan. And maybe some macrame. I thought Lucy nailed it perfectly (as well as explaining why, every time I look into lunch in Fairfax, I don't eat there after all).
It is so nice to have our own corner where people *get* references to places like Fairfax, btw!

I voted "hot" and think the chair is pretty damn cool.

Sometimes I wonder if the AT Editors post a Hot or Not just because they like hearing the inevitable disgusted responses. Something like watching a train wreck, one can't look away (or, at any rate, that's what they say) - except that AT put the penny on the tracks....

Enrique, if you used it in decor, you'd find a way to make it hot.

What's the story with Fairfax? Is it a dump?
I checked the link on ebay to see the other pictures, yeah it looks nasty in the other pictures:( I'm in Santa Cruz so I've become immune or desensitized to tie-die & macrame, especially on Friday & Saturday nights in downtown Pacific Ave. where I see the freakiest people I've ever seen in my life bar none. I say this living here:)
