How is this Hollywood Regency? This looks like something you'd see at a swapmeet in Koreatown.

Really? I ought to go to the swap meets in Koreatown, then. I love this crazy thing.

I'm with you Enrique. I don't want to say I hate this Oyster Lamp (the title says clam lamp but it has a pearl in it so I am taking the liberty of renaming it). Whatever mollusk this may be, it most definitely isn't Hollywood Regency. I would, however, love to have several of these at an outdoor tiki party!

Did you look at the original listing? I am just wondering how this "Hollywood Regency Eames era" hidden gem got to ... Atlanta. Obviously I have been underestimating the swank factor of America's peach tree capital.

Maybe it was Elton's.

Sunspot - you beat me to it!
I had the pleasure of seeing Elton's personal photography on exhibit (almost 400 pieces) at Atlanta's High Museum a few years ago and it was a real treat. Some of his interior decorating choices though are a bit flamboyant, to say the least. This is a man who knows what he loves and goes all out - kudos.
As far as swank goes, I live in Atlanta and it's no NYC but there are some gems to be found. Paris on Ponce and the monthly Lakewood Antiques and Scott Antique market are goodies.
