If that weren't a big, heavy piece of furniture way out in New Jersey, I'd be seriously considering buying it. The shape works with our furniture, and our living room needs a jolt of MCM outrageousness to really come together. That chair would have been so at home in a redone Victorian, circa 1974.

With new upholstery, definitely hot. Even if you painted the metal platinum and used black leather, you're telling me this wouldn't look incredible? Come on people!

I'm trying to figure out how to make that into my desk chair, but I'm worried the rocking will lull me to sleep.
