I don't like the design at the seat corners. It looks like it is wearing knee pads! (i.e. I think that drags it down and makes a delicate chair look clunky). Get rid of those and the chair would be very pretty.

this chair looks cold and frightfully uncomfortable. in addition to having weird bow-legs and sort of scales like a dragon sitting slouched on the subway.

I love the Brocade chairs in white....they are ornate but would work well in a simple home.
I generall like Borcade's designs (even if I wouldn't put them in my house), but my favorite thing they do is juxtaposing their ornate designs with a modern twist, which I wish they would do here--what if the upholstery on the chair was a solid shock of lime green or fuchsia? I'd change my mind immediately.
