Yeah, I've seen this in a shop and it's waaay too confusing. I'm sticking with the back of my dining chairs.

The knot of wires hung from a window frame, plus the final result after hanging jackets on the balls, do not produce a sleek look.

That, and your coat or whatever is smushed against the wall. I see wrinkles and dust. Also, my coats are loooong. How could I possibly hang this high enough to be useful?

I don't love the look, but it seems practical to me. I have a standard coat stand and it's loaded though, so any on the wall solution is appealing right now.
