I think the idea of a skate holding up the books such a fun idea. If I saw something like that in someones home I know I would love it.
That said I think this green molded blob is kinda gross. Many skates, both vintage and ones designed today are so fashionable, why not just make your own? For a much cheaper price, an eco-friendlier option you could thrift for a nice vintage skate (even ones in non-skate condition), stop up the back wheels yourself and you would have a more unique and in my opinion better look.
