Rough Luxe Hotel

roughluxe1.jpgHotels are an endless source of great design ideas. If you're looking for eclectic ideas for your home, check out the Rough Luxe Hotel in London. The place is oozing with quirky touches.

roughluxe3.jpgDo you have less than perfect walls? Consider leaving them as is for textural interest. And forget white porcelain, how about a copper bathtub?

roughluxe4.jpgTo liven up a bathroom, opt for a bright, glossy chest instead of the usual vanity.

roughluxe5.jpgPut away the predictable runner and paint a couple of stripes on your staircase in an eye-catching color.

That copper bathtub is gorgeous. Looks like a fun place to stay.

Love the place but the pic of the two old men reminds me of the old me in the balcony in the Muppets

A very funky hotel. Really love the contrast between the perfectly aged look and the pretty finishes, such as the glossy red vanity and polished shower/bath fixtures in an otherwise eclectic bathroom.

you're so right about hotels being a great source for ideas and designs. there is a place my husband and i love where we were married that we go back to each year and their designs have inspired me so much and taught me so much about interiors. i did a post on it here:

Great funky hotel! Leaving a roughed up, textured wall as a feature is a brilliant idea. I would probably use molding to frame it like artwork and make it really stand out.
