While cruising the web we happened upon loads more pictures of the property that are just begging to be shared...

I love it, beautifully done. Respectful of the Eichler style without looking like a time warp.

It is definitely gorgeous... but... a part of me was yearning for a bit of a less-perfect and more-idiosyncratic style like that which was popular in the seventies... less designerish, and more homey... with red oriental carpets strewn about, and plants, a bit of a ceramic collection (pots for the plants, vases, bowls)... interesting textiles or pieces brought home as souvenirs from trips, showing a life well-lived, and interests in the world, the community, in family and friends....

...I am starting to really tire of the perfect and rather empty MCM look...

Very nice! I wish it had rugs coz those floors look cold. Maybe rugs are not "Eichlerish"

cscamp20, possibly the floors are heated? Eichler homes, at least some of them, were originally built with heating in the floors. I grew up in the Bay Area and know a guy in Cupertino whose original heating system still works. So heated floors would be in keeping with the whole Eichler thing even if they couldn't restore the old system and did the new kind instead.

I was going to say the same thing about that cold looking tile! I hope they are heated. That would be wonderful.

Also, entry way gardens are

I've been following this house for a while. Amazing job. I love the outdoor shower. We plan to do something similar with our Eichler in Concord this year.

By the way, we have over 1000 sq feet of tile in our house and it is very nice on bare feet, thanks to the radiant heat in the floors.
