How to Revamp Fira Chest of Drawers

01_08.20.09_ChezLarsson.jpgBenita at Chez Larsson has inspired many posts here on Apartment Therapy. She is the master of keeping things organized around the home and she does it in style. Her amazing ideas have inspired many small DIY projects around our home as well. This Fira chest of drawers make over is another one we wanted to share with you.

We collect vintage wallpaper so it won't be hard to pick one for this simple project. We have a couple Fira chest of drawers from Ikea, but we would love to give them a new look. You can check out Benita's step by step instructions on her blog. If you are interested in matching a few file folders to match the drawers read her Wall Paper Project #3. Good luck!

You know I just realized that I have an extra one of these, and basically just what I was looking for for storing blood draw tubes at work....I work in a clinic.

love the first photo.

one of these is on my list next time i am at ikea. Been on the fence for awhile but I need to organize a lot of stuff on my desk. Cameras, chargers, gps, cables, ipods, etc.

The first one looks like they did transfers on it which looks great, I am planning on doing really simple graphic shapes of the item that goes inside and cutting it out from vinyl and sticking it on. I like the raw wood look as is of the rest of the drawers.
