3. Apply primer to wall and allow to dry 2 hours.
Apply 2 coats of paint, waiting several hours between coats. Allow to dry overnight.

Love it. Would have chosen a different faucet though.....

the shower curtain is from Nicole Miller, retails for $50, but you can use a 20% at Bed Bath & Beyond. It looks fabulous in our all white and silver bathroom!

I am also curious about the beadboard....is it over the tile? Also did you put in baseboards? We have been pondering the same project but also need to replace the tile in the shower.

Gotta say "Get your Guns Up", Red Raider!

Love it! I'm curious - how did you compensate for the lost storage space by removing the vanity?

much improved.

This looks great!
Did you apply something to the tile and place the beadboard on top? The 3rd and 4th picture shows the tile area is darker, not white. Or did you smash and remove them first?

he took off the tile - look at the fourth picture down
great job!

Lovely! This one looks like it takes too much skill and elbow grease for me to even dream about.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments about our entry!
To answer your questions: I used a hammer and chisel to remove all the plastic wall tile before my husband came in and applied the beadboard. (What you're seeing in the "during" shot is the imprint of that tile in the epoxy that was used to adhere it to the wall.) As for the storage lost by removing the vanity: we actually bought a stainless steel shelving unit the following weekend (after I submitted our entry) that is hung above the toilet to house our lotions and potions and such.
