Inspiration: The "Other Side" of Katrina's Office

01katrina71709.jpgA home office always seems to accumulate a lot of junk, doesn't it? In our own home office, we try to keep our desk itself as neat as possible, but there's always one corner of the room where the buildup of stuff—photographs, greeting cards, bank statements, half-finished projects and the like—gets out of hand. Sound familiar? Well, Katrina got inspired to tackle the "other side" (translation: "messy side") of her office, and we're impressed with how nicely it turned out...

Katrina got fed up with the empty walls and boxes full of clutter on the "other side" of her office; inspired by this great post on The Art of Jordan, she waded through the clutter, created an inspiration board and a clothesline display for her card collection, and sorted her office supplies into compartments.

We're hoping Katrina's nice neat space will inspire us to get to work on our own office this weekend! In case you, too, are tackling the "other side" and need some extra motivation, here are some more clean office ideas from Apartment Therapy:

A clothesline display!! What a great way to display all the funky, arty postcards and other tiny treasures I have been hoarding for the past decade or so! Why hadn't I thought of that? Seems so obvious now...

I know what I will be doing this weekend!
