Every year we're torn about holiday decorations, as buying a bunch of stuff that we only use once and then add to our storage clutter goes against much of what we're about. There are solutions though; we're digging DIY decor made from autumn foliage and recyclables, for example. Another approach is selecting items that have a holiday feel, but would not be out of place year-long.
