Whites, neutrals, and natural materials make for calming spaces. Here, we find a few palette cleansers from past Apartment Therapy posts. Maybe these white schemes will convince you white is the way to go, make you miss color, or see more clearly the perfect accent for your own home:
That room looks amazing! But I couldn't have a room that white, too many spill, stain and scuff mark worries.

was that a spelling error (palette rather than palate) or a very a propos pun? just checking.

I love that first room... and that it's so small but still sports a decent sized bed. We have a tiny bedroom that's currently in office mode- then it'll be a nursery, but at some point it'll need to be bedroom! This is great!

3rd frame: I think those pictures in the frames are sign language, does anyone know what they say.
4th frame: loving the chairs by that table, great use of space.

@dallas10086--
i don't know sign but my little nephew was taught baby sign & he used to clap his hands as in photo 2, which meant school. i'd also like to know what is being said in photo 1.

The fifth frame, with its contrasting play of cool whites and warm woods, lends a nice balance to an autumn table vignette.
