Annals of Spring Cleaning: Calling the Kettle Black

2007_05_24_survey.jpg
Seems most AT:SF readers eschew spring cleaning in favor of year-round cleanliness. Which is interesting in light of a national finding that all the spring cleaning agnostics out there are in the minority. Yes, that's right: fully 65% of Americans do undergo an annual home cleaning ritual.

This March's Spring Cleaning Survey from The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA is a non-profit trade association) also reports that most of us perceive our friends' homes to be dirtier than ours! To wit,

"72% have felt that someone else’s home was unusually dirty," whereas...

Only "38% have been embarrassed by their own unclean home in front of guests."

Hmmm.

SDA kindly provides a link to their house cleaning 101. For the neighbors, of course.
