Antlers For Your Outlets?

121508-antlers.jpg We've all seen antlers on walls and above fireplaces, but here's a smaller version for your electrical outlets. Made from tough urethane rubber it's perfect for holding your cell phone while charging. Plus it also protects the antlers from breakage should you bump into them. Click through for more on this funny little idea...

The antlers for all three types of deer are already the perfect shape to hold things. Maybe not your cell phone, but they would also work for a digital camera or Nintendo DS that might need an electrical boost now and then. Or maybe you just think it's fun to have a small set of antlers in an unexpected place, either way you can read more from their creators over at Nendo.

I would have found this adorable five years ago.

Oh, this would be all cool and witty until someone tried to plug in one of the billions of adapters that is too chunky to fit under the horns.

Also, I could see one or all of those antlers breaking off within 6 months.

The antler outlet covers are a totally stupid idea in my book.

Very cute, despite overload of antlers right now. But not for sale? dang!

I agree that these are just way dated. Also, I'm sure if you haven't gotten tired of stabbing yourself on the antlers then you'd surely be angry once they broke off. Useless product in my mind.

OMG, this trend is so over-cooked. Enough already.

I agree with AustinSarah2, antlers are a bit over-done these days.

Since I sleep wedged against a wall with no real nightstand nearby, I would appreciate the hook aspect of this in keeping my cell charged and handy. That it's antlers - cute, but a one trick pony.

I love them but I'm also a huge Christmas dork. For anyone else I can see them being a bit too much.

I think they're adorable. I didn't know antlers were "hot", though. Here in Texas, antlers grace the space over the mantle of many a hunter. I guess I can now tell my Dad how cool he is.

the "over done-ness" of the antler fad is actually why i like them: it's almost a parody of the fad! or at least that's how i see it... it's one of the most ridiculous things to put antlers on that it's actually kinda funny. and the semi-usefulness is also appealing too...

Hilarious, but I could never put these up. My cat would chew off the tips within minutes - and I think my tiny cell phone is probably too small to fit those.
