Before and After: Tulip Cottage
This Old House

before

When Randy Fishfader bought a 1927 cottage in Salem, Oregon, she thought it was perfect... except that it was a bit small and poorly laid out. With help from local architect Karl Anderson, Tulip Cottage was transformed, while still retaining its original charm. Jump below to see the changes.

This is an adorable house. It really does look like a fairy tale cottage! I wish that I knew the name of the paint color that they used in the dining room.

I LOVE it! I have always wanted to live in a house like this. All it needs is that little water wheel outside like in Sleeping Beauty.

"what happenend to the window on the right?"

If you'd glance at the linked article you'd see from the floorplan that it had to be closed off - on the other side of that wall is the new guest bedroom/bathroom addition.
