Color Inspiration from Rice

Just when we thought we could safely say "pass" on intense color in our own home, we stumbled upon Danish houseware shop Rice. Looking through their Fall/Winter and High Winter 2009 catalogs has thrown us into a bit of an identity crisis...

While Rice doesn't have a shop stateside, we're happy (and we mean happy) looking through their catalogs and website. The bright colors alone are smile-inducing. See more at Rice.dk (speaker alert: the shop's song, "Add Some Spice to Life with Rice", plays upon clicking!).

Those chair cushions are too cute. I love quilts and quilted things lately. Gives that cozy feeling I guess.

Reminds me of childrens' storybooks...last month we read a lot of "Once Upon a Potty" and it's the same look! I love bright colors in the home - with kids, it seems to disguise a lot.
