Courting Change
Canadian House & Home: January 2009

The newest issue of Canadian House and Home features this family-oriented and Asian inspired home, built, owned and enviably lived-in by two architects within the shell of an old warehouse. Without front and backyards, the house is organized around a central courtyard that provides abundant light and a safe play area for the couple's two kids.

The couple's offices are also integrated into the house, near the kitchen, to facilitate the multitasking necessary for working at home and watching the kids. Another key to maintaining such a hard-working space is ample built-in storage, including drawers under the stairs.

Sharinly,
From the magazine :

"The couple who are partners in their own firm, Studio Junction, spent months looking for a suitable building site they could afford in downtown Toronto"

So I guess the answer is Toronto.
