Domino's Gallery of Bookcases

2-27-bookcases1.jpg

We have books on our minds this week, so we were excited to see Domino's photo gallery of bookcases, which also touches upon different ways of organizing books. There are so many envy-inducing bookcases in here that it makes us want to take up carpentry and add some more built-ins to our place. More of our favorites below the jump.

Does this mean we can keep our books out in the open again, without getting scolded about "clutter"?

Depends on how you arrange your books"

If you're piling books one atop another willy-nilly with a munch of little tschotckes in front of the books, that's clutter.

If your books are arranged with some spaces in between for vases, framed art, etc. as in the pictures above - then it's artistic.

I love the first picture...if I wasn't a renter I would have one just like it. I am going to try to replicated during the cure. I especially love the curtain to cover the books...but who would want to cover them?
