Something unexpected happened after we'd been through the Cure a couple of times: we became a lot less uptight about the little messes and piles that accumulate periodically around our home.

We chalk it up to confidence — we know there's a place for everything, and we're not scared to get rid of something that doesn't belong or no longer serves us. A casual pile of papers or clothes is no longer a symptom of neglect or a hoarding problem waiting to happen; it's a sign that we're at ease.
The tableaux above at {my little corner of the world}, embodies this comfort-in-disarray perfectly. And check out the plate arrangement! Gorgeous.
That's a really pretty photo

Yo HurricaneKate, just hit up your local hardware store. They have a variety.

Kate : try the dollar store too. Dollar Tree had some good ones when I needed some.

This reminds me. When I lived in Philadelphia, I was shopping for plate hangers. I'm not going to name the store, but when I inquired about plate hangers (in my slightly Southern accent), I was told, "We don't hang plates on the wall" (in a not-so-slightly icy tone).
