It's the juxtaposition of old and new, vintage and modern, and that combination of textures. Swoon.

Does anyone know what that fluffy blanket is at the end of the bed? I looooove it!

the blanket at the end of the bed is actually a comforter if I'm not mistaken. They sell it at anthropologie in a few different colors if you want to spend 350 dollars; if not, they sell it at target in their shabby chic section for around 80. I have it on my bed :D

It's amazing how many people are afraid of mixing old world things and real clean modern pieces. I think the eclecticism of it all makes it more authentic and less contrived. And really, if your home is suppose to reflect your style and personality, then it should definitely have some diversity and flair.

Love the mix of old and new. It works wonderfully in this picture.

The 'blanket' is actually a duvet cover at Anthropologie. It's not $350 - more like $200. I have the Queen, in the same color, Ivory, and I absolutely love it! The fabric is soft, the ruffles are beautiful and it even has fabric sewn into the corners to attach your duvet.
Highly recommend it.

According to the Anthropologie website the duvet cover is $298.00 (queen size). Whew, sounds worth it but I'd have to save up for it. Thanks for the source info.

Gorgeous! Glad my sister works there so I can get 40% off several times a year.
Really love the combination of the soft looking duvet with the more stark bedding. Too much of the former would be way too cutesy for me.

If I had those pillows, I might be able to part with the 20 so throw pillows we have stored away, never again to succumb to another Etsy seller......

Hi; does anyone know where I might find the wall mounted lamp shown? (or one similiar?)
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the wall mounted lamp is available from DWR. Isn't it the Tolomeo or something like that? I think it comes in a sconce.
