apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Inspiration: Interior Photography by Paul Raeside

The pops of color in Paul Raeside's interior photography is what first got our attention. The harmony of the compositions and the beautiful light make the interiors feel comfortable and inviting. Check out more photos after the jump...

We first came across Paul's work on the Desire To Inspire blog. From private homes to restaurants and businesses, he presents a great variety of interiors on his website. All of them are incredibly inspiring and worth checking out. In several photographs turquoise is the reoccurring color. Seeing how great it looks in many of the rooms, it definitely makes us think twice about the color palette in our own home.

I want that light blue kitchen! Including the backsplash! Wow. makes me wanna run out and get paint for the ikea kitchen I just installed... but in a light color you'd be able to see where none of the doors or drawers are exactly lined up perfectly all the way around... and the cleaning would be impossible.... Ok- I'll settle for the backsplash...

the picture of the cloakroom with the 'lady head' wallpaper was featured in the uk edition of living etc a few months ago - I seem to remember that it was original 60's wallpaper (maybe a biba print?) so you might have a treasure hunt on your hands to din it.
