Inspiration: Simple Shelves

Lately we've been seriously searching through our inspiration files for shelving ideas. We came upon this image of simple (DIY-able?) shelves that we bookmarked from Emma's blog months ago...

...and we love it just as much as we did the first time we saw it.

I could easily make those happen. Now I just need to find a house. It really bums me out to look at AT while house-hunting. :(

I am thinking something similar to that for my bathroom, although more natural looking - an old slatted vegetable crate or something.

I agree, Kimber - I am house hunting, too. All my rentals have had awful walls that crumble at the thought of holding up more than a few ounces of anything.
Those shelves look nice and simple and very cheery!
