Inspiration: Souvenir Plate Wall

0706_plates.jpg

At a loss when it comes to souvenirs once the vacation's over? What about a display that goes over the top with multiples? A little (or a lot of) inspiration can be found in this Richard Ginori display wall that was at this year's Milan Furniture Fair...

The 30-foot square wall is covered in "souvenir plate" designs from Richard Ginori fine china.

It's great in a retail space, but not in a home.

Now, that is one great china collection!
I don't suppose it would work in earthquake prone areas.

The only thing that would make this better is if the entire floor was also tiled in pennies.
