apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Inspiration: Styling for Matt Shapoff's Cyanotype Prints

4-24-09-vignette.jpg

We've noticed that some of the best home inspiration can be found in styling intended to showcase something specific, often not even related to the home. In this case, we love the tablescape beneath one of Matt Shapoff's new cyanotype prints.

We're envious of the vintage chest of drawers, and love how the smooth, white finish of the sculptural pieces contrast with the worn, painted white frame. See more of Matt's work here.

Matt and I were thrilled to find my tablescape on Apartment Therapy! Pictured are objects from our own apartment I styled for this shoot: vintage Steelmaster file drawers with (from left to right) Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand ceramic bowls, Tiffany white art glass vase, Jonathan Adler ceramic owl and West Elm ceramic vase with some great pheasant feathers.
